Dakota's breeding is that of a performance horse with lots of speed blood. His pedigree is filled with performance champions in all types of disciplines. He is conformationally correct, good boned, plenty of muscle, a pretty mover, intelligent, willing to please, pleasant disposition and lots of eye appeal. He is a quality homozygous Tobiano stallion siring quality foals. We have limited Dakota's breedings to outside mares and have mainly focused on our own breeding program. Currently, Dakota is not standing to the public, however we will continue to have foals for sale out of our mares.

Dakota was broke to ride prior to breeding. He was sent into professional training at age 3 for a period of 7 months. He entered his first open show that year and placed 3rd in Western Pleasure. Two weeks later, he placed 1st in two Western Pleasure classes. We brought him home that year and sent him back to the trainer in the fall of the following year for a 90-day refresher. During that period, Dakota entered his first APHA show and placed 4th in Jr. Western Pleasure. Dakota came home for the winter and due to other financial commitments, Dakota has not been back in the show ring. He has just been enjoying life as a stallion and being ridden here at home.
